iPad Pilot Ad :: Flier created to advertise the arrival of our first two loaner iPads on campus and the beginning of a faculty and staff pilot program intended to get these innovative devices into the hands of the campus community.

The Goose :: Working with Washington College Senior, Chad Freedman on his Capstone Experience, we developed a content-rich, interactive community for lacrosse players, alumni and family. The Goose aims to be a c onnecting place for all those interested in lacrosse as well as a jumping off point for Chad’s future career in team branding and consulting.

WCMC Relaunch :: The Washington College Media Channel, broadcasting since 2002, was relaunched in the Spring of 2010 as a Tumblr blog that features the best in media. From campus events to radio to world news, WCMC’s new incarnation aims to keep visitors current – and allow for audience participation through individual submissions.

Apple Kiosk :: Opened in the Fall 2009 semester, the Apple @ WC sales kiosk creates a compact showroom that allows the campus community to preview recommended notebook systems before buying. Created this compact and efficient space in collaboration with the OIT HelpDesk.

Board Presentation :: For the Fall 2009 Board Presentation by OIT, I assembled a 15 item packet that draws upon printed materials created throughout the past semesters and a few documents which custom-designed for this particular session. Each document supports a 30 minute-long PowerPoint presentation on the goals of our department and unique challenges we face as an IT organization within an academic setting.

iTunes U Data :: A single document created for the Fall 2009 Board Presentation that explains our involvement with iTunes U, compares our institution to other schools in our region that are using the service and discusses faculty and staff projects.

Fall Training 2009 :: Fall 2009 training guide, distributed in print and as a PDF attachment. Makes use of the same design as the Spring 2009 flier, but focuses on increased flexibility of online training.

Spring 2009 Training :: Spring 2009 training brought new options to the Washington College community – most notably, online learning support via Lynda.com and chat. To reflect this shift, the training brochure was changed to a two sided flier distributed to faculty and staff and across campus locations.

Faculty Call for Participation :: A call for faculty participation in the Fall 2008 pilot of iTunes U. Designed as a flier and mailer for all faculty, its aim is to get content producers on board for the pilot’s launch.

Technology Recommendations :: Created for the 2008 Summer Advising Days, this trifold brochure gives incoming freshmen and their parents information on what technology is available and what should be brought to campus.

iTunes U Style Guide :: I developed a visual style for Washington College’s launch of iTunes U on campus. This style guide accompanies the icon packs available for download and gives users guidelines for creating their own content icons.

iTunes U Icons :: In support of the launch of iTunes U at Washington College, I created a tutorial for customizing the downloadable icon packs provided for iTunes U Content creators.

Poster Design Contest :: For the fourth annual 60 Seconds or Less Video Festival Washington College sponsored a student poster design contest. This poster announced the contest, prize and sponsors.

IT Folder :: Custom designed and professionally printed, this glossy folder was created to be a customizable marketing tool for Instructional Technology at Washington College. Debuted in the Fall 2007 semester.

IT Packet :: Instead of creating a static brochure, I created a five page packet about Instructional Technology services that could be custom configured when packaged in the IT folder (previous) and easily updated.

George Talk Logo :: A full-color and black and white logo designed (with help from Diane Landskroener) for the newly-launched George Talk mobile phone service. Used on marketing and other materials related to this OIT project.

Instructional Technology Blog :: In support of a new Instructional Technology website, I created a companion blog that keeps our campus community updated on events, emerging technologies and more.

OIT Homepage 2007 :: One of my first tasks after being hired by Washington College was to redevelop my department’s website. Starting with existing materials, I set out to make the page more navigable. I introduced a new template designed by College Relations and suplemented it with a variety of aesthetic and organizational changes.
