A new attraction for ARoB…
Recipes! Mainly, I thought it might be kinda fun to start making these little recipe cards for the things I eat most often. Also, a number of you dear readers are new to living on your own (even our fair Dusty has gotten an aparment of late), so these could make a nice starter set. I’m including a PDF version sized to fit perfectly on 3 x 5″ index cards.
it is cheaper for me to buy salads at restaurants than to buy all of the ingredients myselff
This lasts for about four meals. The ingredients are:
1) $0.79 tuna
2) $0.89 onion (whole)
3) $2.00 carrots (bag)
4) $1.50 grapes (bag)
5) $1.00 sea salt (canister)
6) $6.00 olive oil (bottle)
7) $2.00 Italian seasoning
$14.50/3 = $5.00 per meal, and the vast majority of the ingredients can be used again and again and again…
I will have to try this sometime!
(I really want to make one of these for an Awesomer Than Jesus)
this is the greatest idea!
i’ve been collecting recipes from my nutrition teacher. after the semester ends, i’m becoming the grocery shopper and chef at our house for a while.
maybe i can use some of your ideas…
